Current exhibition by Sculptor James Horan
James Horan is a well known Irish sculptor. The ideas behind his work revolve around people’s interaction with each other and their enviroment. He believes that our behaviour is often humourous and quite odd to outside observers, it is that kind of observation that he looks for in daily life. Humour plays a large part in my work, both in the ideas and the phisque of the figures he carves. He often portrays figures with underwear or super-hero capes, etc., to lighten ideas which can be very serious. Come and see the large collection of fabulous sculptors in display at the gallery. But hurry as the exhibition runs until 31st October 2008.
