Inspired by the beauty of his native Cork coast and by the sea about it, Tom spends his time when not painting either on the sea in boats or beneath, as a scuba diver.
This unique knowledge of his subject allows Tom to capture the very essence of the light, colour and atmosphere of the sea in all its various moods and the beauty of the ever changing skies that colour the sea, beaches and coastal villages around us.
Not content to paint beautiful sea scapes above the surface he also follows the light beneath the waves to share the beauty of the underwater world with all who buy his paintings.
