Galerie Nautique is situated in a tastefully restored Victorian warehouse located in the heart of Cork city’s docklands. The gallery houses a large selection of seascapes paintings using watercolour and pastel by local artist Tom Browne. Galerie Nautique has a pleasant relaxing atmosphere where art enthusiasts can browse at their leisure. The gallery also hosts a variety of art from other artists. The gallery is now one of munsters largest galleries with over 3,600sq feet of exhibiting space.

The old Victorian warehouse was originally where Tom together with his son Stanley operated an exclusive stair manufacturing business. This company Design Warehouse has recently re-located to Little Island where Stanley has taken over the running of this business.

Since that move Tom saw the opportunity to turn his life long dream into reality and transformed this Old Victorian Warehouse into his very own stylish chique art gallery.

The Gallery to date

Since the opening of the gallery in December 2007,there have been many exhibitions and events held of both Tom’s work and many other artists, sculptors and photograpehers work.
